At the end of February we moved even deeper into beautiful Paarl. The joy of this new chapter overshadowed all the packing, heavy carrying and overall madness of a scorching hot moving day.
Seeing as we’ll be utilising our new space for a big part of recording our upcoming album, this move was an important one. And as they say, change is as good as a holiday, right? Keep an eye on our social media pages to follow the recording process – there is so much more to it than meets the eye. We are learning every day through this exciting journey!
Thank you Stilfees – Murraysburg, Cradock & Bloemfontein
Early on the morning of 19 March, we left for Murraysburg. We’ve heard that this festival is really special, but we couldn’t quite prepare ourselves for how majestic and tranquil it truly is. To paint you a picture – people were relaxing under the trees, some camping out on picnic blankets, others dozing off in hang mats – pure bliss!
We had the privilege to be in the line-up with Joshua na die reën and Kaleidoskoop. It was really special to see how 500 people soaked up beautiful music and special family time in this oasis in the middle of the Karoo. We are so grateful to every person who was there and for the organisers who put this stunning festival together every year!
From there we went to Cradock for another sold out show at True Living. THANK YOU beautiful Cradock people! We really appreciate your support and we can’t wait to visit your town again. It’s heart warming and loads of fun – every time!
In Bloemfontein we performed at the All White Dinner at Villa Avianto. This French tradition really suited this venue so well and it was special to see this tradition living on – even in Bloemfontein. Thank you for inviting us to this event, Villa Avianto!
